Hello! My name is Jen!

I’m a Licensed Counselling Therapist (Candidate) and Certified Canadian Counsellor (CCC) practicing in the Fredericton region.

My journey into the therapeutic realm began with my work as a birth doula in 2013, a cherished path I pursued before completing my Masters in Counselling Psychology at University of New Brunswick in 2018. I have always held a unique affinity for navigating liminal spaces – those challenging, in-between stages of transformation that can be both disorienting and uncomfortable. I strive to be a heart-centered companion and guide for individuals and groups as they navigate these complex and often unclear spaces in life. Grounded in trauma-informed care, I prioritize safety, trustworthiness, and empowerment, ensuring that our space is one where vulnerability can be safely explored and resilience can be built.

My work has centered around connection and healing. I've witnessed, both in my own life and in the lives of those I've worked with, that much pain and suffering arise from a sense of disconnection – from oneself, community, culture, ritual, and nature. It is an honour supporting others as they tenderly expand their capacity for self-awareness and do the difficult work of compassionately uncovering their authentic selves.

My practice is rooted in the understanding that healing occurs within the context of multiple systems — personal, familial, societal, and ecological. This systems-thinking lens informs my work, enabling us to see the broader picture of your life and how various elements interconnect and impact your well-being.

I’m looking forward to being your companion on your journey.
